On 28/12/2012, Saigon Technology University held a formal ceremony to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the school.

To attend the ceremony, there was the presence of Dr, Do Quoc Anh, Chairman, Director of the representative agency of the Ministry of Education and Training in the city. HCM; Dr. Le Manh Ha, deputy chairman of the HCMC People's Committee. HCM; Professor, Dr. Tran Hong Quan, former Minister of Education and Training - President of the Association of Universities, Colleges of non public in Vietnam; and the representatives of agencies, local agencies, schools ...
The preventatives of STU are Dr. Truong Quang Mui, Chairman of the Board - Secretary of the Party Committee of the University; Proffessor, Dr. Dao Van Luon- President; and all members of the Board of Directors, the School Board, officials, faculties, staffs, departments, centers and approximately 200 students.

In the ceremony, STU also honored to receive the Commendation by the Prime Minister to acknowledge the STU contribution to build socialism and defend our country. Besides, the faculties, departments, and individuals also were honored awards from the government and city to recognize the contribution of education in the past 15 years.
